There are few transitions in a person’s career more challenging than moving from contributor or maker to manager. It’s clumsy, awkward, a little frightening and filled with both opportunities to grow and ways to misstep. And the burnout rate of first-time managers is unacceptably high in many organizations.
Whether you are a first-time manager or a manager responsible for new managers on your team, it’s imperative that you succeed.
That’s where I come in.
For a limited time (during May 2017), I am opening my calendar for a few candidates in my personalized mentoring program at a reduced rate.
There are few transitions in a person’s career more challenging than moving from contributor or maker to manager. Share on XThe First-Time Manager Mentoring program offers one-on-one support and guidance via bi-weekly calls and on-going correspondence for four months. Together, we explore the core behaviors and approaches essential for new manager success and we develop a roadmap that helps you sidestep the common and often catastrophic mistakes of first-time managers.
The second option is enrollment in my First-Time-Manager Monthly Call program. This is a live session, where I teach and share guidance on the issues all new managers face as they navigate this role. I offer content and open every call for live q/a.
Both programs are open to recently promoted first-time managers (within the past twelve to eighteen months) or soon-to-be promoted professionals striving to gain a head-start on success! (For managers of new managers, I am happy to discuss a group rate for either program.)
Supporting the development of first-time managers is an important part of my mission. I navigated the sink or swim approach earlier in my career and have dedicated considerable time as an executive and now as an executive coach to helping build the next generation of new leaders.
This program is important to you or your new manager, and it is important to me to help you or your new manager succeed.
