What’s Next for You in Your Career? It Can Be a Vexing Issue!

For many individuals, figuring out what’s next in their careers is a vexing problem. That’s why I’ve created a new workshop program to help. Introducing the Six-Hour Career Energize Saturday Series.

In three hours each on two Saturdays in April (4/8 and 4/22), I guide the group through the early stages of my  Career Reinvent Framework , and assuming you do the homework, you gain a great jump-start on solving for “I’m not sure what I want to be when I grow up,” or, “I would like to do something different, I just don’t know what that might be.”

Sidebar: Most readers know me as the leadership and manager coach/program leader. That’s true, but in the past few years, I’ve expanded my services based on client demand to include career change coaching. It turns out great professionals aren’t satisfied running in place and many want support to make the right “next” change for them. And, I lived this myself…and am dedicated to helping people avoid the mistakes I made along the way!

How Six-Hour Career Energize Helps:

1. You solve the most challenging part of making a career pivot—identifying the best options that fit your interests, abilities, and financial requirements.

2. You move from daydreaming about making a change to actually working on the most important project in your professional life: you!

3. You take those ideas that have been on your mind forever and create the plan(s) to test and evaluate them before making a potentially risky move.

4. You dramatically reduce the risk inherent in making a career shift. Our approach is design thinking meets agile project management, so you’re doing the homework while receiving professional guidance to assess what and when a shift works for you.

Here’s What You Need to Know About the Program

  • This isn’t a program for job seekers…it’s a program for those looking to pivot/reinvent/do something different (you pick your favorite phrase). We don’t work on resumes or talk about prospecting tips. We focus everything on building a strategy and specific plans to help you identify and reach the “next” step in your career.
  • There’s no eliminating the need to do your homework. Once you enroll, I provide the pre-work documents, and the better the job you do on these assignments, the more you’ll gain from the live sessions.
  • There are two weeks between sessions—enough time to let you build out the key assignments and come to our second session prepared to drill down into your best options.
  • I provide post-program guidance and group check-ins. (See the next bullet.)
  • You’re never alone. I’m only an e-mail away before, during, and after the program.

OK, What About the Price?

This is a beta (first-time) version of this program. I’ve coached hundreds for 1×1 and small group coaching. Those are great, but they are expensive. This is priced at $197 each for just this first-time group. It will never be this inexpensive again. I’m looking for feedback from all participants in this one, making it greater, and I’m willing to keep the price down to receive your valuable input.

I only serve those who want to truly make a change. If you decide it’s not for you, I’ll give you your money back, no questions asked.

I’m leaning toward limiting enrollment. We’re just opening, but if you want to ensure a seat, register now.

Final Thoughts to Consider:

The most frustrating thoughts any of us can have are, “I’m not sure what I want to be when I grow up,” or, “I would like to do something different in my career, I’m just not sure what that would be.” Don’t fall victim to those self-limiting beliefs. This is a small investment and a great opportunity to solve that challenge, and I’m honored to help.

If Finding “Next” is Important, 6-Hours in April is a Great Place to Start!
