David, I can't help thinking of the Seinfeld episode where Kramer attempted to "opt out" of the postal service. Hmmm, maybe the phone company is exacting retribution for my less than flattering posts.

Mark, your "power-washed" post from a few weeks ago was great and very well received! Your uplifting Light4theWeek newsletter is the poster child of something that could go viral! Stay tuned for the seminar!

Thanks to all for reading and commenting. -Art

Great "shorts," Art. I would certainly participate in your social networking online seminar. As we discussed in the past, I have high goals for Light4theWeek and the expanded impact it could have via blog posts, website, and SEO. I appreciate your trusted expertise and consultation up to this point!

Best,

Andy, love the insight on mobile phone space and the thought of competition for some of these forms puts me in the "giddy" club right with you. Cheers! -Art

Twitter, I think, has problems, but if you want to correct your phone bill issues, look at Google Voice. Unify all your numbers, local calls, free international 2 cents.

The really interesting battle is going to be in the mobility space. Mobil phone payments haven't hit the US yet (we're years behind the industry leader, Africa), but Google has thrown down the gauntlet with Android and the soon to be release Google Wave. Facebook is building a mobile interface version, which will include a payment platform.

Credit cards and mobile carriers (AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint) face serious competition from sources they never envisioned http://bit.ly/4fIuEs.

I am just giddy in anticipation...
